One of my favorite things about being a photographer is the challenge and adventure of always learning new things, seeing things in different light, and always pushing myself as an artist. Josi was one of the first people I met after moving to Enid and I can't say enough sweet things about her. Josi mentioned from the very beginning how they were so excited for their shoot and that they couldn't wait to fill their hallways and frames of their NEW HOME with updated images of their love. Colby owns a trucking company that hauls grain and Josi mentioned the grain elevators were a big part of their lives, so of course I wanted to somehow incorporate them into their shoot. This SEEMED easy enough, until I began scoping out the many grain elevators around town (there are A LOT of them) and realizing though they were totally awesome industrial structures, they weren't necessarily the prettiest things ;). As I was scouting locations for their shoot, I knew exactly what I had in mind, I just had to find it! This is where the challenge and adventure of photography comes in! :) I wanted to find the perfect spot for Josi and Colby's shoot and I feel like I got pretty darn close! The light that evening was nothing less than perfection and their natural chemistry made them a dream to photograph. Thank you Josi and Colby for choosing me as your photographer. It was my greatest pleasure!
